It has been a really long day with lots of walking, getting very wet, and waiting at train stations, and I am seriously tired. But I'm so much happier now that I'm here in Parma...

Zurich to Pavia, Solo

Well, David and I are now two countries apart in Europe. It is very sad! Who made these plans anyway? He left in the car around 8:30 this morning, then I finished packing, checked out of the hotel, and headed to the train station at 10...

Good news: David was able to drive us to Zurich despite his lakeside injury in Geneva. Phew, that was a relief to both of us! He is still a major cripple in a good amount of pain, poor guy. But we've had a nice evening in Zurich nonetheless...

Nuremberg to the Bavarian Alps
posted October 23, 2010 by Holly Hayes

We needed that! It was seriously cold throughout our stay, getting below freezing at night and windy during the day, but we did have some sunshine occasionally, too...
