Gilt Bronze Head of Minerva Bath, England late 1st cent. CE

This life-size head of the Celtic-Roman goddess Sulis Minerva was probably part of the cult statue from her temple, which was located beside the Sacred Spring in first-century Bath. It is now displayed in the Roman Baths Museum.
