Description
old-fashioned flower design element

Completed in 1847, the Albert Dock in Liverpool had a revolutionary design enabling ships to unload directly into warehouses. It was also the first structure in Britain to be built without wood (only cast iron, brick, and stone), rendering it remarkably fire-resistant.
