GV II

Piers, steps and walls forming part of the entrance forecourt to Moor Close (qv). 1911, by Oliver Hill. Red brick and York stone. Central flight of 4 rectangular stone steps on entrance axis of house. Flanked by 2 tall panelled brick piers with moulded stone caps. Low retaining wall on each side, on right extending approximately 5 metres; on left approximately 6 metres to lower brick pier of similar design.
