  1. A good example of a small rural railway station. Mid C19 - the line was opened in 1847. One storey. Three windows facing north-east, 4 windows facing south-west. Faced with weatherboarding. Wide eaves cornice with iron brackets. Hipped slate roof. Glazing bars intact. Small waiting-room on the other side of the line with wide overhanging canopy across the platform. Connecting contemporary iron staircase across the line with 2 dog-leg flights.
