Longhouse, possibly late C17; roof raised and barn converted to living quarters in late C18. Coursed squared roughly-tooled sandstone. Pantiled roof with stone ridge and gable copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 storeys, 4 windows and lower, later 1-bay right stable extension, now as office. Gabled porch in front of original passage entrance, and new pent porch to right extension: boarded doors on inner returns and small windows in front. One 3-light Yorkshire sash; other windows modern small-paned casements. Chamfered fire window to right of porch. Plain-curved kneelers. 1 chimney in original position behind fire window and another at left end, both C18 corniced type.

Interior: stone heck partition in situ but fire beam replaced. Main beam chamfered with sharp stops; joists also chamfered. Other, slightly later beams of good scantling. In converted barn part C18 dado rail and panelled cupboards.
