Lodge. Circa mid C19. Knapped flint with yellow brick dressings. Red clay plain tile roof with gabled ends, the deep verges with ornate pierced barge-boards. Brick axial stack with corbelled brick cap. PLAN: L-shaped on plan with entrance porch in the angle. Picturesque style. EXTERIOR: 1 storey and attic. Asymmetrical south front with projecting gabled wing on right with C20 timber porch in the angle with lean-to clay tile roof. 2- and 3-light casements with diamond leaded panes and brick surrounds with flat rubbed brick arches. Similar 3-light casement on east side to road and similar 2-light casement to rear north. INTERIOR not inspected. An intact early Victorian Picturesque lodge with group value.
