National school, now detached cottage. 1834, converted 1980s. Limestone ashlar, artificial stone slate roof with ashlar stack, formerly bellcote. L-plan. Single-storey, 6-window. Central gabled porch with Tudor-arched doorway with hoodmould and door with 8 fielded panels, coped verge, three square-headed 2-light windows with cusped lights and hoodmoulds either side. Right and left returns have tall square-headed 2-light window with cusped lights and hoodmoulds. Rear wing has gabled half-dormers with 2-light square-headed Perpendicular-style windows with hoodmoulds, quatrefoiled lozenges over windows. Good example of little altered village school with good detail.
