Shell Service Station Winston-Salem, NC

The Shell Service Station in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, is a former gas station constructed in 1930 in the form of a giant yellow shell. A great example of "novelty" architecture, it has been fully restored and is now an office of Preservation North Carolina.
