When Wolsey fell from power, the quad was left unfinished - the arches intended to connect with the cloister can still be seen on the walls. Tom Tower was built 1681-82 by Sir Christopher Wren. The pool in the center was originally the college reservoir. Christ Church College, Oxford, England. Image credit: Holly Hayes
