    although it was my first visit outside Paris, I was so impressed by the beauty of the Chartes Cathedral. Most people I have talked to that have visited France over the years, none knew of the jewel of Chartes, I am so blessed that my daughter and I traveled to this beautiful town on a day trip. Almost missed the last train back to Paris, although I would not have minded that adventure.
