Popularly known as MIM, the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels boasts a collection of over 8,000 instruments from a variety of cultures and time periods. As a bonus, it is housed in the former Old England department store, an Art Nouveau masterpiece of 1899 by Paul Saintenoy.
