Sunset On The Olgas, Kata Tjuta

I was lucky enough to see the moon rise over the Olgas as sun began to set.

If you are going to Ayres Rock, then I recommend the sunset at Kata Tjuta as a more interesting experience than Uluru itself.

The lower number of people, the absence of viewing platforms, the ability to explore the valleys between the domes all lead to a much more engaging and initimate feel to the trip.
