Historical plaque on the Dexter Cabin (1879), part of the Healy House Museum, Leadville, Colorado, USA. Inscription: "Dexter Cabin / Erected in 1879 by James Viola Dexter, pioneer Leadville mining man. Purchased in 1936 by the Leadville Historical Society, through gift of Phyllis Campion Webster, and presented to the state in 1947. Restored by the State Historical Society of Colorado as a memorial to perpetuate the name of James V. Dexter, through bequest of Roland G. Parvin, his son-in-law. / The William A.
