Per hoc ostium non intrant nisi humiles

22.12.2012: the tiny entry into the Greek Orthodox Basilica of the Nativity, Bethlehem (in retrospect I should have tried to catch someone going through it to give a better sense of its size - about 1.4 metres, I'd guess). It was apparently bricked in like this to stop people riding their horses into the church. Basilica of the Nativity, Bethlehem, State of Palestine.
