Refers to prehistoric circular enclosures of well-spaced large upright stones; if the ring of stones is bordered by a circular ditch and bank of earth, use "henges." Use "megalithic chamber tombs" if the stone enclosure is capped by stones and covered by a mound of earth or stones.
