    Originally a Saxon minster, this large parish church dates mainly from the late 13th century but retains some earlier elements. It has an attractive 13th-century spire and some notable interior decorations.

  • Old Grammar School Bampton, England

    Bampton's old stone schoolhouse was founded by a wool merchant named Robert Veysey in 1635. It housed a schoolroom on the main floor with teacher's rooms above, the latter lit by dormer windows. A three-story porch extends from the north side.
