Mayan vase from Guatemala. Polychrome terracotta, Late Classical Period, 7th-10th centuries. Exhibit in "Arts of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas," a fascinating sample of about 120 works owned by the Musee du Quai Branly. Displayed in the west pavilion of the Denon ground floor, just inside the Porte des Lions entrance, Louvre Museum, Paris.
