Caption
The beautiful Gothic west facade of Regensburg Cathedral. It is a combination of many periods, but was primarily built between 1341 and 1487. The south side is the oldest. The spires were never finished in the Middle Ages, leaving them to be added in the 19th century. The greenish blocks are from 19th-century restorations; they are currently being replaced with white ones.
