Exterior view from southwest. The magnificent west front of Exeter Cathedral is dominated by a Decorated Gothic image screen begun in the 1340s and completed nearly a century later. It features three tiers of very weathered sculptures, which were originally brightly painted. The Norman tower dates from the early 12th century. Exeter Cathedral, Exeter, Devon, England.
