An angel stops Abraham (who has disappeared from the left side) from sacrificing his son Isaac, who is bound and sitting on a throne, smiling at the viewer. Romanesque capital from the ambulatory around the choir of the abbey church, dating probably to the early 12th century (the church was built 1088-1130).
