Image: Chandelier of barbarossa

Detail of the huge (4.2m diameter) and impressive chandelier donated by Frederick Barbarossa on the occasion of Charlemagne's canonization. It was made in 1165-84 in Aachen; its towers represent the Heavenly Jerusalem as envisioned in Revelation.

And it could use a dusting.
