Image: Lambertikirche, münster

The 14th-century Lambertikirche, a spacious Gothic hall-church with beautiful vaults and an elegant spire. Midway up the tower hang the cages in which the bodies of John of Leiden and two other radical reformers were displayed in 1536 after their execution.
