The Virgin and Child at the top of Münster Cathedral's astronomical clock, made in 1540-43. At noon, the Three Magi emerge in procession to pay homage to the Christ Child. The man in the black beret and red coat on the left is Ludger tom Ring, the clock's painter. Below is a Latin inscription informing the viewer of the clock's features.
