Tomorrow we finally return to Europe! Life at home in Portland is wonderful, but it has been too long since I've seen a medieval cathedral. The trip will be 2.5 months long and includes the Netherlands; Brussels; lots of England; Scotland all the way up to Orkney; N France; Switzerland; N Italy and Rome; Salzburg; and finally W Germany and Strasbourg just in time for Christmas markets.

More trains will be involved this time, so these little bags are all I'm taking! (But what they lack in size they make up for in weight, I'm afraid.) Should be another grand adventure, with many photos posted here along the way.
