The anchor is being temporarily displayed and stored at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend, Washington, from June 10-30, 2014, until shipment to Texas A&M University for research. Monk believes this to be the anchor of the HMS Chatham, part of Captain Vancouver's 1792 expedition.
