Image: Calendar of Saints' Days

List of saints for each day of the year on the calendar portion of the astronomical clock (1540). This calendar calculates the dates of Easter and other days until 2071! Among the saints seen here are Thome de aquino (Thomas Aquinas), whose feast was on 7 March and Gregi pape et doctoris (Pope Gregory the Great), whose feast was on 12 March. Both feast days have since been revised.
