  • Castle Church (Schloßkirche) Wittenberg, Germany

    On the door of this church in 1517, Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses against the sale of indulgences and launched the Reformation. The church contains the tombs of Luther, Melanchthon and Frederick the Wise.

  • House of Theodore Beza Vézelay, France 1519

    On the picturesque main street of Vezelay, a small plaque marks the house in which John Calvin's right-hand man was born in 1519.

  • Aldersgate Flame England

    Marking the site where John Wesley experienced an evangelical conversion in 1738, the Aldersgate Flame monument is inscribed with Wesley's account of the experience. It stands right next to the entrance to the Museum of London.
