Early 19th century. Single span bridge terminating in piers. Random rubble with ashlar piers. N ELEVATION: single span with ashlar voussoirs, plain parapet with semi-circular caps, terminating in round pier to right with projecting neck cope and semi-circular caps, left pier missing. S ELEVATION: single span with ashlar voussoirs, plain parapet with semi-circular caps, sloped wing wall terminating in round piers with projecting neck cope and semi-circular caps.

Part of an A-Group with Dean Castle, Dower House and Lodge. Dean Bridge spans the Kilmarnock Water and links Dean Castle with the Country Park and woodland walks situated to the N. The bridge is sited near a low rock slabbed point in the river thought to have been a natural ford.
