Large U-plan farm steading, with open court facing south. Western arm comprises early 19th century large Kintail type cruck framed threshing barn; mid 19th century range with small wing at west elevation fills eastern arm, linked by low centre byre range with centre segmental headed arch spanning path leading to farmhouse to north. All harl pointed rubble; later ranges have slate roofs. Barn; large boulder footings; wide louvred and wattled vents take up major portion of east/west walls; 2 pairs winnowing doorways; internal party wall divides barn into 2 sections 2 pairs cruck stumps remain, and wall vents indicate 6 further pairs. Corrugated iron roof; remains of circular horse walk on east side.

Unusually large barn measuring 20' x 120'. The crucks or couples would have supported the former heavy heather thatched roof. Small freestanding shed with corrugated roof sited within court not included in list. Farmhouse not listed.
