Large rubble walled enclosure with ornamental water. Segmental arched W. gate, niches in W. wall with small marble statues: eagle. Ogee roofed gazebo on east wall. Garden gates wrought iron dated 1919 and 1924.

Founded 1751: South and east walls built 1754, eagle and statutes in E. wall purchased that year. (Chrons. III p.413, 416). Alcove in E. wall rebuilt 1888 to gazebo to designs of Miss Murray McGregor and called 'McGregor's Folly' (Chrons. IV p.505)
