SU87SW TERRACE ROAD SOUTH 674-1/11/103 (East side (off)) Piers, steps and walls on SW side of entrance forecourt to Moor Close
GV II
Piers, steps and walls forming part of the entrance forecourt to Moor Close (qv). 1911, by Oliver Hill. Red brick and York stone. Flight of 5 and 4 rectangular stone steps flanked at the lower level by 2 panelled brick piers with moulded stone bases and caps. To left brick retaining wall in English bond with weathered top, links left-hand pier to pergola court (qv). (Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest: Part 3 : Berkshire).
