Pair of houses in terraced street. c1830-40. Coursed and squared stone with slate roof. EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storeys, 2-window range, comprising pair of single unit, double pile plan dwellings. Moulded architraves to doorways with overlights, and wide ground-floor windows (either inserted or replacing original shop windows); two sash windows to first floor. Plain wood eaves cornice. End wall stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected. The houses form part of the planned industrial community of Eagley Bank, built in association with the Chadwick's Eagley Mills (Park Row and Playfair Street, qv).
