GV II

House. c1805-10. Stucco with slate roof and iron boot scrapers. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3 first-floor windows. Band over ground floor. Pier strips to sides; breakforward to centre bay. Central entrance, tripartite Doric portico with central pediment and half-glazed doors within with margin-lights, overlight with glazing bars. Ground floor has outer tripartite windows: 6/9 between 2/3 sashes; first floor has 8/8 sashes; louvred shutters. Hipped roof, end stacks. INTERIOR: has open-well staircase with stick balusters and wreathed handrail, otherwise not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: 2 iron boot scrapers to porch.
