SP42NE NORTH ASTON 5/276 North Aston Hall: Icehouse approx. 150m NW
II Icehouse. C18/C19. Limestone rubble and brick. A short rubble-arched tunnel in the side of an earth mound leads to an egg-shaped chamber, the lower part of which is constructed of brick, but the vault is of rubble. (VCH: Oxfordshire: Vol XI, p10)
