COLEFORD CP COMMON LANE (North side) ST64NE KILMERSDON COMMON 9/60 Flint House, walling and gate piers 29.3.82 - II
Country House. Early C19. Ashlar, moulded cornice, parapet with coping, coped verges, ashlar stacks, asbestos slate roof. Regency. Two storey, 2:1:2 bay frontage, that to centre emphasised by pilasters; sash windows with glazing bars and marginal lights on first floor, French windows in conforming style to ground floor, central 6-panelled door, fanlight, side lights. Later rendered 2 storey, 3 bay addition to left, sash windows and casements. Glass roofed verandah on wrought-iron supports along ground floor. Length of ashlar wall bounding roadside, ramped down in 4 sections, cross-gabled gate piers with quadrant walls at driveway entrance.
