EVERDON STUBBS ROAD SP5957 (South side) 22/79 The Old Plume of Feathers GV II Former inn, now house. Late C18. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, brick end and ridge stacks, those to ends on stone bases. 3-unit, through passage, plan. 3-storey, 3-window range. 6-panel, part-glazed door to left of centre with reeded timber surround, plain frieze and cornice-hood. A 3-light leaded casement window to left, a 3-light wood mullion and transom window to right, and a pair of horned sash windows to far right. 3-light casements to first and second floors. All windows have stop-chamfered timber lintels. Contemporary or early iii extension to left of red brick with flared headers and one 2-light window with segmental head to ground floor and plain tiled lean-to roof with gablets. Interior not inspected.
