TL 71 NE FAULKBOURNE

2/35 Home Farmhouse

GV II

House, now divided into 3 or 4 tenements. C16, altered in C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 3 bays facing NE with stack in middle bay behind ridge, and 2-bay rear wing behind left bay, with external stack at end. Single-storey lean-to extension with catslide roof behind the remainder, and C19 wing to rear, with central stack, and catslide extensive to right of it, the whole forming an approximately square plan. C19/C20 single-storey extension to rear. 2 storeys and attics. Ground floor, 4 C20 casements. First floor, 3 C20 casements, 2 of them having C20 2-centred hood moulds in feature gables. C20 doors in both returns and rear. Interior not inspected. RCHM 4.
