8/96 Two Pairs of Retaining Walls and Central Steps, 25 yards west G.V. of Little Sodbury Manor II
Two pairs of retaining walls and central steps. Early C16, remodelled and restored. Rubble walls 5 to 8 feet high; central flights of steps with coped rubble walls. The upper wall retains the terrace and the lower one retains a bowling green said to have been used during a visit of Henry VIII. Return walls at south ends, for 10 yards.
