    Kitty Bateman ran the Greyhound during the war together with her sister Daisy. Mr Stephens is listed as licencee in 1950

    My maternal grandparents (Wilfred and Eve Stephens) ran the Greyhound Hotel during and after the war.
    The old courtyard behind the coaching arch was glassed over and set out like a Palm Court.
    They moved to the Bulldog Public House Filton Avenue in the early 1950's
