GV II

House. Early-to-mid C18. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys. One bay. Windows have painted chamfered stone surrounds with stools for central flat-faced mullions, now removed. Frames are C20 brown-stained casements. Door, to left, has plain stone lintel and quoined right-hand jamb. Chimney at right. The house sits between taller buildings and has quoins only at the right-hand side of the facade. Changes in the stonework suggest that the eaves and the 1st floor window surround have been raised. It may form a single surviving bay of a once larger house.
