  1. C18 houses. Nos 39 and 40 painted brick facades, Nos 41 and 42, stuccoed. Tiled roofs 2 storeys No 39, rest 2 storeys and 1 attic dormer each. 11 windows in sashes, only vertical glazing bars remain. No +39, modern shop front No 40 reproduction bow window and entrance to side passage with brackets. Nos 41 and 42 altered C19 shop front, squared bays with some glazing bars remain.

Nos 30 to 43 (consec) and No 46, form a group with Monmouth House, its gate and overthrow and Quadrille Court, its wall and gate opposite.
