GV II

House and shop. Early C19. Rendered front; flat roof; brick chimney stack. Regency style. 3 storeys, 2 bays. To ground floor, boarded door to left, flanked by panelled pilasters leading to console brackets and moulded projecting continuous flat hood; then two semi-bow windows of 12-panes each, the outer panes being set in a quarter circle, flanking pair glazed doors with plain fanlight over; to first floor two similar bow windows with central 12-pane sashes and curved 4-pane ends, under a continuous fascia with flat hood; to second floor two 9-pane sash windows in plain openings. Interior not seen. Flat roof spoils otherwise interesting survival, but it may be of early C20, as No.5 Market Place (qv).
