Hotel, originally individual terraced houses. Late C19. Stucco. Five storeys and basement. Each house 3 windows wide. Doric porches advanced. First floor balustraded balcony breaking forward over porches. Segmental pediments to first floor centre windows. Triangular pediments to 2nd floor centre windows. Main cornice on consoles above 3rd floor. Cast iron area railings. Part of Stanhope Gardens layout.
