Cemetery gates and railings with gatepiers. 1867, by Paull and Ayliffe. Sandstone and wrought-iron. Large central ashlar gate pier in the form of a splay-footed spire on a square base, with marble corner shafts finished as small corner pinnacles, crockets to the spire and apex cross; 2 pairs of smaller square outer piers with pyramidal caps, linked by walls of coursed sandstone rubble; wrought-iron gates and railings with dog bars, the gates with 3 bands of fleur-de-lys in circles and the railings with trefoil-headed panels.
