Attached house. c1670, refenestrated C18. Rendered timber-frame, right-hand brick lateral stack and a pantile half-hipped roof. Single front and rear rooms with stair between to the left with a light well behind. 3 storeys, attic and basement; 2-window range. A truncated gable to the front has a jettied first floor, moulded string to first and second floors, cornice and boxed eaves. A left-hand door has 4-pane overlight, architrave and C20 six-panel door. Paired ground-floor windows to 2/2-pane horned sashes with horizontal bars, upper windows in flush frames with 4/4-pane sashes, and attic casement. 1-window left-hand return with 4/4-pane sashes in flush frames. INTERIOR: raised panelling around ground-floor front windows, a cantilevered beam projecting from the rear with moulded end, dogleg winder stair, and small attic cupboard with butterfly hinges. The plan form is found in other late C17 Bristol town houses such as the Llandoger Trow, King Street (qv). (Gomme A: Street Index of Buildings of Architectural or Historic Interest: 66).
