Farmhouse, now house. C16/17. Timber-framed with brick/plaster infill and some rubble stone walls; old plain tile roof with brick ridge stacks. 2-unit lobby-entry plan extended on left (towards road) probably in C17. One storey plus attics. Original entrance flanked by casements with rectangular framing above; extension fully-framed on stone plinth, of bays with central one-bay projection partly clad in stone with brick quoins and dressings (C18). Present and former entrances flank wing, and gable front has a 3-light casement to each floor under segmental brick arch. 2 gabled dormers at rear. Interior has open fireplaces and a late C17 stair with turned balusters. Formerly belonged to St. John's College, Oxford.
