NORWOOD NORWOOD EDGE ROAD SE 25 SW (west side, off) 7/84 Crag House and attached barn and outbuilding - II

House, barn and outbuilding. Late C18 or early C19. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. 2-storey, 2-bay house and 3-bay barn under one roof, with narrower 2-bay stable and hay-loft set-back to right. Quoins to main range. House: central half-glazed door with tie-stone jambs flanked by flat-faced mullion windows, to left of 4 lights, to right of 4 reduced to 2 lights; 4-light windows to first floor also have 2 mullions removed. End corniced stacks. Barn of one build with the house has central cart entrance with quoined jambs and segmental arch, byre door to right and circular pitching eyes with projecting plain stone surround, first floor left and right. Shaped kneelers and gable copings to main range. Stable block: board door left in plain stone surround; straight flight of steps to first floor door with tie-stone jambs, right.
