- From Cl2. Round west tower collapsed in 1770 and only east side of tower to just above the nave roof level remains. Nave and chancel in one, the nave with plain Norman north doorway and altered Norman south doorway. Two-light Perpendicular south windows. Two-light Decorated? north windows and window with Y-tracery. Three-light Perpendicular east window. C15 south porch of chequered brick and knapped flint, with moulded brick arch and brick 2-light Perpendicular windows at sides. Interior: C15 zarch-braced roof with crenellated wall plate and longitudinal arched braces below. Rood stairs. C15 screen with traceried pointed arches and traceried dado with painted panels. Circa 1390 wall painting of St Christopher on north wall. Cl7 manorial pew with high panelled sides and tester on square moulded posts. Early C17 communion rail with flat balusters. C15 octagonal font with quatrefoils in panels of bowl and panelled stem. Fragments of stained glass in chancel windows. Monuments: Two tomb-chests: Thomas Glean 1666, and Sir Peter Gleane 1685.
