TIMSBURY C.P. HIGH STREET (north side) ST 65 NE 2/33 Pitfour House G.V. II House. Mid C17, extended, altered and refaced c.1800, front rebuilt c.1965. Rubble reconstituted stone, freestone dressings, slate roofs. 2 storeys, 5 windows, sashes in architraves in cill bands, central 6 panel door under plain round head light which breaks doorcase pediment which is carried on Tuscan columns, fine dentilled cornice, plain parapet; right return has a 3-light window with edge-moulded mullions, door under hood on brackets and a first floor sash; complex rear elevation shows 2 gables and to left hipped block, all 2 storeys. 3 windows, right gable has a 2-light ovolo-moulded mullion casement, central gable shows round arch stair window with plain architrave springers and keystone, block to left has 3-light edge-moulded mullion casements, west return has 2 storeys, 2 windows, 2-light ovolo-moulded mullion casements. Interior has a large open well staircase with stick balusters and wreath.
